Jackson Professional^® Launches New Sport Flat Free Wheelbarrow Tire

CAMP HILL, Penn. (October 2011) – Jackson Professional, an Ames True Temper^® brand, and a leading manufacturer of non-powered industrial-strength digging, striking, and material handling tools, today announces the launch of the Sport Flat Free Tire, ideal for Jackson and True Temper wheelbarrows.

The new Sport Flat Free Tire has a patent pending automotive-inspired five-spoke design, unlike any other flat free tire on the market. In addition, the tire offers Jackson Professional’s market-proven Rubber Clad tire technology and a steel wheel, which meet industrial grade performance standards. The Rubber Clad technology is superior to typical polyurethane foam as it is constructed with two different materials. The proprietary foamed rubber casing is designed to resist deterioration, and the tires also have more “bounce,” meaning they perform similar to air tires and will not develop flat spots like typical polyurethane foam.

In addition, the new tire is currently available for purchase as a replacement part for $40.00 to $50.00 at The Home Depot, independent hardware stores and industrial distributors nationwide. The Sport Flat Free Tire is compatible with any of the Jackson Professional and True Temper “C” and “M” Series wheelbarrows.
