Ames True Temper Corporate Sustainability Policy
The purpose of this policy is to outline Ames True Tempers’ role in regard to sustainability.
Ames True Temper is committed to being an exceptional steward of the environment, while continuously improving shareholder value. Ames True Temper has a Corporate Environmental Policy, which is the guiding principle we use to direct our environmental efforts. Many of our customers have asked us to focus on environmental stewardship. This fact, coupled with the Ames True Temper philosophy that it is the “right thing to do” are the reasons why Ames True Temper is committed to environmental awareness and stewardship.
The goal of Ames True Temper, through its’ sustainability initiatives, is to continuously reduce energy and natural resource consumption while minimizing the company’s impact on the climate, local communities and our neighbors.

Ames True Temper Global Sourcing
Ames True Temper conducts business with a high ethical standard and expects the same performance from those who manufacture and supply our components and products. We source goods from all over the world, with the largest concentration in Asia. We provide clear guidelines for product quality, safety, and social responsibility to our suppliers.
Our global sourcing policies prohibit the use of child or prison labor, slavery, and human trafficking in the production of materials we sell. Our suppliers are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the conduct of their business with Ames True Temper and their products must meet regulatory and industry standards.
The Ames True Temper Global Sourcing Office validates that our supplier partners operate safe and ethical factory environments that produce reliable, quality products. We are driven to provide high-quality products produced by socially responsible suppliers and will continue to review our sourcing policies to insure we maintain the best practices possible.
